Football Defeats Rabun Gap, 66-38

Friday evening at Rabun Gap was a sight to see. The Greenie offense showed out against the Eagles to the tune of 66-38 road win. Leading the way was another impressive performance under center from Navy Shuler '20, who finished with a masterful 581 passing yards and six touchdowns to set the tone for the squad. Keyvaun Cobb '19, who finished with 400-plus yards of offense, had four touchdowns of his own. The number of touchdowns is less impressive than how he got them though as he had a touchdown rushing, receiving, kickoff return, and a 102-yard interception return.

Nationally-ranked receiver Kaedin Robinson '19 continued to put up his big numbers with 11 catches for 222 yards and three touchdowns. He now has 17 receiving touchdowns on the year and has broken the 1,000-yard barrier on the year. Read Sunn '20, who is mostly known for his linebacker work, scored a receiving touchdown of his own to go along with 20 tackles. Mikey Peralta '21, who plays corner and wide receiver for the Greenies, had a receiving touchdown and a pick-six. The defense may have given up 38 points, but they intercepted the Eagles quarterback three times and had 10.5 sacks in the game, two by Kiki Alcime '20, two and half by Sunn, and one from Nathaniel Carson '20, Ian Adams '21, Saevion Gibbs '20, Eddie Willis-Fleming '20, Jack Dubose '20, and Mickey Meguiar '21.

The Greenies will be at home on Friday night, October 12th, against Charlotte Latin. It will be Senior Night for Christ School.
