2020 Alumni Weekend is Postponed
Dear Christ School Alumni,
If you spend some time on our campus, you quickly learn that our students and alumni believe deeply in the power of the brotherhood that is Christ School. As we face uncertain times during the Coronavirus pandemic, the strength of this bond has never been more evident and important. As you may have seen in recent weeks, we have postponed several events and transitioned to virtual learning for our students. Christ School is focused on delivering quality instruction while maintaining open lines of communication and connection between faculty and students. More than anything, our main priority will remain the health and well-being of our students and school community.
Based on current recommendations from national and state officials, Christ School is postponing Alumni Weekend 2020. While we all share in the disappointment that we will not be able to gather, we are planning a unique celebration for next year. We will be combining the years ending in 0, 1, 5, and 6 at Alumni Weekend 2021 (April 30 - May 2). Stay tuned for more information.
As we all adapt to this new daily experience of Christ School, we want to thank you for your continued outreach and support of Christ School and of one another. Now is the time, more than ever, to put the strength of our brotherhood into action. Now is the time to reach out to your classmates. Now is the time to share your stories with us. While we may have postponed Alumni Weekend and other gatherings, you should expect to hear from us regularly. Our social media posts, e-newsletter, and other forms of communication will continue. We are also brainstorming new ways to connect with alumni and provide support and resources during these challenging times. Please reach out to the Advancement Office at email@example.com if you have questions and ideas, or you want to learn how you can help.
Most importantly, we send our thoughts and prayers to you and your families in the coming days and weeks. Christ School remains committed to its mission of transforming boys into exceptional young men. We all, including alumni, have a vital role to play in this work.
Take Care and Go Green,
The Advancement Office
