Thomas Garbee '16 announces his commitment to the Naval Academy to play golf. With four Division 1 golfers in the class of 2016, expectations are high for the Greenies this Spring.

On February 12, 13, and 14 at 7:30 pm the Christ School Theater Department will perform Neil Simon's The Odd Couple. The play follows the antics of two mismatched roommates: the neat, uptight Felix Ungar (Thomas Hoefer) and the slovenly, easygoing Oscar Madison (Will Janvier).

Christ School senior Devon Johnson has been selected as a finalist for the Morehead-Cain Scholarship, one of the most prestigious scholarships a student can earn in the United States. The final selection will span March 5-8, 2016.

North Carolina poet Jaki Shelton Green will give a reading in Pingree Auditorium on Sunday, January 17 as part of Christ School's Martin Luther King, Jr. Week activities. Green was inducted into the North Carolina Literary Hall of Fame in 2014 and served as the North Carolina Piedmont Laureate in 2009. Christ School Greenies Kiffen Loomis '16 and Devon Johnson '16 have been selected as semifinalists for the Morehead-Cain Scholarship. The Morehead-Cain, based solely on merit, is one of the most prestigious scholarships a student can earn in the United States.

On the evening of Saturday, November 7, 2015, Christ School Theater rang the Angelus Bell for the first time in 115 years to announce their win at the North Carolina Theater Conference Regional High School Play Festival.

On Wednesday, October 21, members of the communities at Christ School, Asheville Christian School, and Carolina Day School joined together to celebrate their collaboration on a Habitat for Humanity home. During the project, which began in the Fall of 2014, the three schools raised more than $55,000 and dedicated thousands of hours on the job site to build a home for the Wolfe family.

At this year's Angelus Dinner Bertram L. Scott P'08, Chairman of the Board of Directors, announced the launch of the public phase of Christ School's capital campaign Drawing Strength from Within: the Campaign for Christ School. The campaign will raise funds for endowment, capital projects, and the annual fund.

Christ School presents a vibrant new logo to represent its athletic teams. Although Christ School teams have proudly borne the name "Greenies" since the early 1900s, until now the name has not been symbolically represented. The new logo, which characterizes the strength and spirit of Christ School's outstanding athletic program, will begin appearing on all athletic uniforms in late October
