There is only one way to get a genuine feel for what it's like to be part of Christ School - and that is to visit us in person. Nothing can compare to meeting the boys, touring campus, perhaps staying overnight in a house, eating in the dining hall, or sitting down with teachers and coaches. All it takes for that to happen is to call our Admission Office at 1-800-422-3212 Ext. 106 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for an appointment.
For weekday appointments, please plan on spending approximately two hours on campus. (Saturday appointments are approximately one hour.) A visit can include -- with advance notice -- spending the night in a residence hall hosted by a current student, meetings with teachers and coaches, meals in the student dining hall, and attending classes. Our objective is to give you a thorough look at Christ School because the more you come to know us, the more impressed you will be with this special place.
When you visit Christ School you have the opportunity to tour historic downtown Asheville, area attractions, and our magnificent surrounding mountains. Explore downtown Asheville's numerous restaurants and small shops. Discover the region's art and craft heritage at the many art galleries or visit one of the area's historic attractions like Biltmore House or Chimney Rock. Experience the mountains' endless opportunities for outdoor activities, like hiking the real Cold Mountain or taking a ride along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Wiley Cash, this year's Godwin-Hauser Resident Author, visited Christ School in October for a full week of guest readings and class discussions - but he also spent valuable moments with students and faculty that left lasting impressions. From eating lunches in the Dining Hall with students, to discussing his writing process, Dr. Cash connected with students and left the entire Christ School community inspired.
