A Message from the Director of Admission
As you think about Christ School, consider the following:
• It is a place where teachers love to teach so much that most of them live on campus, which means that each has time to come to know you because they are not only your teachers but likely your house parent, advisor, coach, mentor, and sometimes all-in-one;
• You can focus your whole day on what needs to be done, be it school work, sports, exploring your faith, other activities, or just relaxing with friends;
• You can attend a school where its tradition of sending its graduates to some of the finest colleges and universities in the country is a tradition that spans 107-years;
• And, you can attend a school where its 500-acre campus is located in one of the country's most beautiful spots, the mountains of western North Carolina, just south of Asheville.
In a recently done school DVD, Christ School senior Nathan Ruffin is quoted as saying: "At home, I don't have a football field outside my room. I can't go outside after dinner and join a game of ultimate Frisbee, or just hang out with friends whenever I want…."
Christ School is much more than school. It is an experience that forever shapes and influences the man you will become. Come take a closer look, for I'm confident that the more you learn about us, the more impressed you will be with this special place.
Sincerely,
Denis Stokes
Director of Admission
