Freshmen:

  • Study hard.
  • Meet with your advisor to choose challenging and inspiring courses.
  • Explore your academic, athletic and community service interests at Christ School and at home.
  • Read for pleasure.
  • Fill your summer with rewarding work, study, travel, and/or volunteer opportunities.

Sophomores:

  • Challenge yourself with an academic schedule that is appropriate for you.
  • Delve deeper into your extracurricular activities and consider assuming leadership positions.
  • Take the PLAN and PSAT tests and review score results with Mrs. Conner.
  • Schedule meetings with Mrs. Conner to review test scores and become familiar with Naviance.
  • Fill your summer with rewarding work, study, travel, and/or volunteer opportunities.

Juniors:

  • Confer with Mr. Blackard on your testing plan, test prep needs and your academic schedule.
  • Meet with Mr. Blackard to develop an initial list of schools commensurate with your academic profile and interests.
  • Use Naviance to research schools on your preliminary list.
  • Visit a variety of schools.
  • Fill your summer with rewarding work, study, travel, and/or volunteer opportunities.

Seniors:

  • Confirm your final college list with Mr. Blackard and explore possible scholarship opportunities.
  • Establish a timeline for completing the application process with Mr. Blackard and determine if and where you may want to apply Early Action or Early Decision.
  • Complete all standardized testing.
  • Budget your time wisely so that you may balance school with your college visits and assignments.
  • Manage your college list and deadlines with Naviance.
  • Fill your summer with rewarding work, study, travel, and/or volunteer opportunities and get ready for college.
